Think is an acousmatic composition that explores mental illness. It is a reaction to watching a very close friend go through a schizophrenic break from reality in winter/spring of 2015. The text is all derived from posts she made on social media during this time (the only way I was able to see what she was doing). They began as paranoid rambling thoughts and over time became less coherent, and were eventually just strings of gibberish, letters and numbers. The final section is a sort of elegy, representing my own part in the story - though she got better and is doing well, there is always an element that was lost during that time.
