Acousmatic composition inspired by the process of dressmaking. This was the audio component of a fixed installation titled "360 Degrees" centered around a dress designed and created by Emily Robertson. The dress was attached to a dress form and the process of creating the dress was projected onto the form as a time-lapsed visualization (3D projects designed by Jared LeClair). The electronics were diffused on a quadraphonic speaker system, but this is the stereo mixdown of the original multi-channel version.
All sounds used for this composition were recorded by Jon Fielder at the costume shop of the Department of Theater and Dance at the University of Texas at Austin.
