Acousmatic composition about a series of hallucinations I experienced in fall of 2010 as a result of extreme sleep deprivation. The hallucinations were entirely auditory and presented as voices in short phrases. These were similar to lucid dreams in which I would internalize and remember one or two phrases but they never had any meaning or context. It was the first and only time I would ever experience any kind of lucid dreaming, even though I was awake the entire time, thus my referring to them as hallucinations rather than dreams.
All sounds are derived from recordings of voices collected, edited and processed by Jon Fielder
